Six Reasons Dallas Should Max Out Harrison Barnes

With the Dallas Mavericks interested in signing Harrison Barnes to an offer sheet, why should they max him out?
The Dallas Mavericks once again whiffed on all of the big names of free agency, but one of the top restricted free agents is still left on the board. With money to spend and the desire to put a competitive team around Dirk, taking a starter from the Golden State Warriors could be the best option.

Barnes, who has received much undeserved criticism, was going to get this type of money from someone, why not Dallas? Even though word out of Golden State is they plan to match any offer for the young forward, Dallas looks to try their luck in calling the Warriors bluff.
Dallas fans are screaming out of frustration, but for myself, this is something I have advocated all year-long on The Smoking Cuban Podcast on iTunes. Not only that, but I prefer handing Barnes the max over the likes of Chandler Parsons.
