With the 2016 NBA Draft finally finished, we look at how the Southwest Division did on draft night.

Going into the night, only three teams in the Southwest Division had first round draft picks: the New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, and San Antonio Spurs. Only one team had a lottery pick with the Pelicans at 6th overall.

The Rockets and Mavericks went into the night only possessing second round picks as they had previously dealt their first rounders away in past deals.

With 10 total picks in the division and two teams with just one total selection, the division did quite well with the picks they did possess.
