30%- Kevin Durant to the New York Knicks

I have been on this statement for the past two years as I think a lot of factors could play into this whole situation.

Why not go to the biggest market in the NBA that has no legacy to follow behind (Kobe in LA, LeBron in Miami)? Why not play in the Eastern Conference? Why not join up with a growing Kristaps Porzingis who is on a rookie contract? Why not go to New York City and trust in Phil Jackson running the show? Why not live in the same city as one of your best friends and pastor Carl Lentz?

If New York could convince Carmelo Anthony to waive his no trade clause and get something valuable in return for him, it could help their chances drastically freeing up the money to chase another target. But even if he stayed, a Durant-Anthony-Porzingis big three in New York could finish top four in the East.
