50%- Kevin Durant Returns to the Oklahoma City Thunder

The percentage is higher than this in my opinion but for the sake of this article, we will keep it at at least 50% that Durant returns to the Thunder.

I believe Durant’s decision to come back to OKC will be mainly about money with the team factor coming in second. Not only will the cap go up another projected $20 million next summer, but Durant will then have 10 years logged in the league, thus making his max contract a bigger contract.

Then you factor in that Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka will both be hitting free agency next summer and it could entice Durant to come back and give this crew another shot at the title.

This will be the overwhelming favorite opinion of many people trying to predict Durant’s future.
