McKenzie Moore Invited to Dallas Mavericks’ Mini Camp

New Zealand MVP candidate McKenzie Moore to be invited to the Dallas Mavericks mini-camp.
The Dallas Mavericks continue their pre-draft workouts heading into the NBA Draft next month. With their first round pick headed to Boston in the Rajon Rondo trade a few years ago, Dallas finds themselves with only a second round pick on draft night.
With second round picks and possible summer league targets on their mind, Dallas is continuing their summer workouts by inviting NBL standout Mckenzie Moore to their summer camp. Although ineligible to be drafted, Moore could impress enough to be invited to a summer league roster.
Moor spent two seasons in college playing for the UTEP Minors where he entered the the 2015 NBA Draft hoping to hear his name called. Moore ultimately went un-drafted and signed on to play on the Milwaukee Bucks summer league roster.
After not making the Bucks roster, Moore decided to head overseas to play in the New Zealand professional basketball league.
It was last year in New Zealand that Moore turned heads by finishing the season averaging almost 23 points a game and one of the final MVP candidates for the league. Now, the 6’6″ shooting guard finds himself being invited back to the states to compete in the Mavs and Nets minicamps.
