Mark Cuban Makes His NBA Champion Pick

Mark Cuban was asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” who he is picking to win the NBA Championship and his pick was surprising to some.
It was just last month that the Dallas Mavericks were matched up with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Dallas came into the matchup short-handed and battling injuries.
With Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant coming together once again, the Thunder put the Mavericks away in 5 games as they danced their way to a second round matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.
Now, after the controversy around Cuban calling Durant “the only superstar on OKC”, Cuban is making the Oklahoma City Thunder his NBA Finals pick.
During his interview on “Meet the Press”, Cuban was asked who he is picking to win the Finals out of the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, or Oklahoma City Thunder (guess NBC doesn’t have high hopes for Toronto).
He responded “You know, I’m going to take a little bit of a long shot here and go with the Thunder.”
Cuban went on in the 13 minute long interview to discuss many different topics in the interview including him touching on his willingness to consider a Vice President nomination for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
With reports coming out about the possibility of Cuban running as a third party candidate, Cuban shot down the idea of him running for President…at least for this election.
