2. Working With an Experienced Roster and Staff

This one I believe may be the most important thing if Howard does have any interest in coming here. Many of the problems that Howard has run into have been working with some more difficult coaches and teammates in his career. Some of these include Stan Van Gundy, Mike D’Antoni, Kevin McHale, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden to name a few.

Now I’m not saying that Rick Carlisle is by any means an easy coach to work with, but his reputation does speak for itself. Widely considered one of the best coaches in the league, the truth is as long as you give Carlisle the respect he deserves, he will do the same for you.

Dwight would also get the luxury of playing alongside one of the all time greats in Dirk Nowitzki. Aside from Dirk’s countless accomplishments on the court and incomparable work ethic, he is also a great leader in the locker room. Players very rarely have an issue getting along with Dirk and he is a great role model to other players in the league.

These players and coaches would be able to work well with Dwight without overwhelming or pushing him away like he has seen before.
