Jay Knodell: Chandler Parsons’ Season

“When the Mavericks came to terms with DeAndre Jordan I had high hopes for this season. Obviously that didn’t pan out. Then there was Chandler Parsons, who I predicted would have a great season. But it took him longer to recover than I had anticipated, and then of course went down with another injury late in the season.

Other than that stretch earlier this spring, his season was a major disappointment. It’s the easy route, but I’m most disappointed in what could have been. With Jordan and a healthy Parsons to go along with Dirk Nowitzki’s timeless play and Wesley Matthews’ gritty approach to the game, the Mavericks could have been a problem.” -Knodell
