Jay Knodell: Raymond Felton

“I have to go with Raymond Felton here. He’s the only guy to appear in more games than Wesley Matthews, and he singlehandedly won Dallas a few games over the course of the season. It’ll be interesting to see what type of contract he has earned himself this offseason.” -Knodell

The fact that there were so many answers throughout our staff shows the amount of fight and grit this Dallas team had throughout the year. You could have made a case for Dwight Powell earlier in the season or for David Lee once he was brought in mid-season. Then there is the case for Zaza Pachulia if you considered him a role player on this Dallas team.

You could make the case for literally about five different role players on this Mavericks team, thus defining the type of season that took place in Dallas this year.
