With the Dallas Mavericks’ finishing the regular season strong despite the injuries, who was the best role player this season in Dallas?

The Dallas Mavericks had one of the most injury plague seasons in recent history for the franchise. From the recovery of Wesley Matthews, the plethora of injuries to role players, and the injury riddled season of Chandler Parsons, this season in Dallas was an interesting one to say the least.

With the Mavericks fighting for their lives come the end of the season, dealing with injuries became second nature as the team looked to role players to fill the void left by ailing starters. We saw time missed by Chandler Parsons and Deron Williams while also watching J.J. Barea, Devin Harris, and David Lee all miss time towards the end of the season. Yet, Dallas still finished 6th in the Western Conference.

So with all the injuries that took place over the course of the season, what player took advantage of the opportunity the most over the past months of the season? What role player had the biggest impact on the team making the playoffs? Simply, who was the best role player for the Mavs this season?
