Dallas Mavericks: David Lee Out for Remainder of Series

By Jay Knodell

Dallas Mavericks PF/C David Lee has been ruled out of the remainder of the team’s first round series against OKC.
The bad news just keeps piling up for the Dallas Mavericks. This time it’s reports that PF/C David Lee has been ruled out for the remainder of the team’s first round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This isn’t entirely shocking.
After all, Lee has played with a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot for the last two games.
He hadn’t suited up at all for the Mavericks in games 1 and 2 because of the injury, which occurred against the San Antonio Spurs in the regular season finale.
Dallas is down 3-1 heading back to Oklahoma City, and, with Memphis out, is the most injury-rocked roster remaining in the postseason. They’ll need big performances from the few guys they have left to stay alive.
