5.) (8) Houston Rockets vs. (1) Golden State Warriors

How in the world does three other series come before the Warriors series? Does Houston have a shot?

No, Houston doesn’t, but they still have two top 20 players in the league with James Harden being a top 8 player in the league. To go along with Harden and Howard, Houston returns basically the same team that finished 2nd in the West last year and faced the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

I expect some close games in this series that will at least make it entertaining. But if you told me Golden State sweeps this series and wins every game by double digits…I wouldn’t be surprised.

Houston just has too much talent to look at them like a typical eight seed.
