If Portland loses and Dallas wins, the Mavs get the 5th seed and face the Los Angeles Clippers. If Portland wins and Dallas wins, the Mavs get the 6th seed and face the Oklahoma City Thunder. If Memphis loses and Dallas loses, again 6th seed. If Memphis wins and Dallas loses, the Mavs gets the 7th seed and face the San Antonio Spurs.
