Mavericks’ Playoffs: Chandler Parsons & Devin Harris to miss game two

Down 1-0, the Dallas Mavericks will need to catch any break they can to defeat the two-seed Houston Rockets, and it seems they won’t be tonight.

Chandler Parsons (knee) and Devin Harris (toe) will miss the second game of the best of seven series tonight according to Rick Carlisle.

Also according to Carlisle, Parsons injury is worse than he was let on to be and could miss more than just tonight’s game.

Richard Jefferson is expected to take Parsons spot in the starting lineup tonight. He netted just four minutes in game one; all when Parsons was in the locker room getting his knee reevaluated after reaggravating the injury.

The Mavericks were 9-9 in games Jefferson started this season.

Parsons tallied 10 points on 5-16 shooting in 37 minutes.

Harris only played 10 minutes before sitting out the rest of the game.
