]]> Jason Kidd has 5 points halfway through the first quarter.  Good sign for Dallas.  Interesting that Corey Brewer is the first man off the bench for the Mavs.  He saw no action in Game 2 and has seen limited action throughout the playoffs so far.  He came in for Stevenson, who has two quick fouls.  The Lakers look more comfortable on offense, passing the ball well.  Mavs trail 14-10 with about six minutes left in the first quarter.

Dirk celebrates a big win in L.A.

The Dallas Mavericks proved that they are not “soft” once and for all, coming back from a 16-point deficit in the third quarter, to win game 1 96-94.  Dirk Nowitzki proved that he is clutch, scoring 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, hitting big buckets in the closing minutes to lead the Mavs to the victory.  This win was huge for Dallas!
