In the latest episode of Locked On Mavs, the beat writer for the Dallas Mavericks, Earl K. Sneed, joins me to talk about everything regarding the Mavs offseason.

Hosted by Nick Angstadt of Mavs Moneyball and myself, Isaac Harris of The Smoking Cuban, the Locked on Mavs podcast is a daily podcast as a branch of the Locked On Podcast Network.

Bringing Mavs fans five episodes a week, we keep the fanbase up-to-date with all of the breaking news and stories as both Nick and myself are credentialed media members located here in Dallas.

In the latest episode, I am joined by my friend, Earl K. Sneed. Sneed is the beat writer for Mavs.com and the Mavs Insider co-host for Fox Sports Southwest.

In the hour-long conversation with Sneed, we hit on a plethora of topics surrounding the Dallas Mavericks’ offseason.

More from The Smoking Cuban

We talk about Earl’s time at Summer League in Las Vegas and everything surrounding Dennis Smith Jr. in Dallas. We touch on the change of free agency plans for the Mavericks this summer and how building on the young core is now the goal.

Sneed also gives his opinion on the Nerlens Noel situation, Seth Curry’s role this coming season, and his one word to describe the season.

We also discuss his time covering the Mavericks during the 2011 championship season, his favorite Mavs over the years and the growth of African-Americans throughout the NBA front offices.
