As the NBA Playoffs are now underway, The Smoking Cuban staff has all made their picks on who they think will be hoisting the trophy at the end. And don’t worry, all picks were made prior to the beginning of playoffs.

The NBA Playoffs are one of the most exciting times in all of sports but over the past few years it has almost seemed like a foregone conclusion. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the best team in the East since LeBron came back, while the Golden State Warriors have controlled the West ever since Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green emerged as a legitimate big three.

Of course, adding Kevin Durant never hurt anyone.

This year, despite the Cavs falling late to the streaking Boston Celtics, they still remain the heavy favorite out of the East while the Warriors remain the heavy favorites to win it all. That being said, the path to the Larry O’Brien Trophy looks different from different people.

For this reason, we as a staff have made our individual picks for each playoff series right to the NBA Finals. Every one of us has either the Cavs or Warriors in the Finals, but one staff member believes that a dark horse will be ready to make a run all the way through the championship series.

Despite the expected results, take a look and see who The Smoking Cuban staff believes will be prime for an upset, who will be pushed to their limits, and who will roll through the playoffs without even a backwards glance.
