NBA Rumors: Mo Williams Wants To Play For Mavericks?

The Dallas Mavericks need depth at the point guard position, and it seems someone wants to fill it.

Free agent guard Mo Williams has reportedly expressed interest in playing for the Mavs.

Williams spent last season with the Portland Trailblazers. He averaged 9.7 points, 4.3 assists, and shot 36.8% from three in 74 games.

After playing under coach Terry Stotts, Williams could be seen as a quick fit for the Mavs. Stotts was one of Rick Carlisle‘s assistants and runs a very similar offense.

With Jose Calderon and Shane Larking in New York and Devin Harris a free agent, the team will look to bring in a point guard or two this offseason.
