NBA Rumors: Jordan Hill on Mavericks' Radar?

Despite bringing in Tyson Chandler, the Dallas Mavericks are expected to bring in another big body or two.

Yahoo!’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Dallas has interest in the Los Angeles Lakers free agent Jordan Hill.

The 6’10” and 235 pound forward/center offers plenty of energy and rebounding down low. Hill, 26, is coming off his best, as he averaged career highs across the board this season – 9.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, and .9 blocks – starting 32 of the 72 games he played in.

For his career, the 8th selection of the 2009 draft has averaged 6.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in 16.4 minutes; he’s played for the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Lakers during his five-year career.

Along with Chandler, Dirk Nowitzki and Brandan Wright are the only big bodies signed on the Mavs roster. DeJuan Blair, Bernard James, and Shawn Marion are currently free agents.
