The NBA Draft is set for Thursday, June 26th. The Dallas Mavericks are without a first round pick but hold the 34th and 51st picks in the second round.

We’ll take a look at some second rounders that could be in the Mavericks sights. As well, we’ll look at some borderline and late first rounders who could slide into the second.

P.J. Hairston, Texas Legends

Unlike his fellow draftees, P.J. Hairston enters on a different path. After being dismissed by the University of North Carolina, he elected to join the NBA D-League. Though the Mavs have Monta Ellis on the roster, passing on Hairston may be a tough decision due to his upside. He can get drafted in the early-teens, but can also slide early into the second round.
