Not even the NBA Finals can stop offseason rumors from swirling around.
Marc Stein of ESPN Dallas has reported that the Dallas Mavericks are one of several teams Carmelo Anthony would consider signing with if he elects to opt-out of the final year of his deal.

Anthony, 30, is probably looking at his final big pay day, while also looking to finally reach the NBA Finals.
As poorly as the New York Knicks were this season, Anthony enjoyed one of his better seasons in the league; he averaged 27.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.
It is to be seen if Anthony will demand a max contract. If so, it may limit his options outside of New York.
Over his career, he holds averages of 25.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists, while suiting up for the Knicks and Denver Nuggets over his eleven seasons in the league.
The Mavs have a hole at small forward with starter Shawn Marion declining and also a free agent.
The Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets have also been listed as possible destinations.
