The season is over and all we can do is either look back or look ahead. We’re going to take some time to look back and grade the Dallas Mavericks.
Up next? The rookie who spent more time with the Texas Legends than the Dallas Mavericks.
Ricky Ledo: 11 games, 1.7 points, 35.3 % fg, 37.5 % 3-pt
Ace Feltman (@MFFeLtman): A+ A DALLAS MAVERICKS 2ND ROUND PICK THAT HASN’T YET DISAPPEARED INTO THE LAND OF NOWHERE?! NO HOMEWORK FOR A MONTH!
Bailey Rogers (@BRogers789): incomplete Ledo barely played at all. While I expect him to replace Dirk as the next franchise player of the Mavs, I have absolutely no actual evidence to support this belief. And from what I have heard, he was fairly hit or miss in his time with the Legends. Ledo seems like a talented athlete with all kinds of potential, but I’ve seen far too little to judge him.
Jose De Leon (@JoseOfLion06): TBD I honestly don’t know what to make of Ledo just yet. All I heard and read entering the season was how great of a scorer he is but he struggled in garbage time for crying out loud. If he’s not scoring at will when the game is all but over, why should we expect him to score when the game matters?
