Lakers, Ryan Kelly Looking To Ruin Mavericks' Playoff Hopes

After losing another game Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers (25-50) have quickly focused their attention to Friday night’s matchup with the Dallas Mavericks (44-31).

To the Mavericks displeasure, the Lakers are coming into the game to crush the their playoff hopes.

With the second worst record in the West, it doesn’t come as a shocker that the Lakers are looking to play the role of spoiler.

This will be the third and final matchup of the season series between these two times, with the Mavericks winning the previous two meetings by an average of 16 points.

In the two math ups, second round pick Kelly has averaged just 4 points in 15 minutes of action.

Before the Mavericks can turn their attention to the Lakers, they first have to take care of business tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Mavericks are currently in a three-way tie for the 7th and 8th spots in the West with the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns.
