Motivation? Really?

Loss drops you out of the playoffs, you haven’t beaten Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook since Game 5 of the 2011 Western Conference Finals, you just wasted Monta Ellis’ first 30-point game of the year and 7 blocks from the Haitian Roller Coaster Ride – in a game where you led by 17 – if that means anything at all this year- you were EMBARRASSED the last time you played on national TV (at Denver), you’re faced with a potential first round matchup, you’re on national television, you’re at home, you’re 2-2 so far in the franchise’s longest home stand ever with the same amount of games remaining, you have the best fans in the NBA who have put up with your on and off and on and off and off and on and off and on and who the hell knows what to expect from you this year?!-…ness, you’re running out of opportunities to blow and games to “make up for last game” and there are 10 games left.

You also walk out to this every home game…

Let’s. Go. Mavs.
