The Dallas Mavericks started off hot early against the Brooklyn Nets, leading 29-15 at the end of one.
Only negative is that it was done without their starting point guard. Jose Calderon left less than a minute into the game after getting smacked in the face by Nets’ rookie Mason Plumlee on a rebounding attempt.
Jose Calderon is doubtful to return with a “facial injury,” per Mavs PR.

Devin Harris came in to replace Calderon, hitting three quick three-point shots.
Expect Harris and rookie Shane Larkin to handle the point guard duties if Calderon needs to miss an extended period of time.
In his first season as a Maverick, Calderon is averaging 11.6 points, 4.9 assists, and shooting 45% from three point range.
