Mavericks send Jae Crowder, Shane Larkin, Bernard James to D-League

In a move to get some of the young guys some game time, the Mavs have announced that they have sent down Jae Crowder, Shane Larkin, and Bernard James to their D-League affiliate Texas Legends.

The move isn’t expected to be a long one, the Mavs will host the Chicago Bulls Friday.

Crowder (23) has fallen out of the rotation thanks to the recent play of Wayne Ellington. Crowder has tallied just 2 minutes over his last 3 games (2 CD-DNP). On the season the second year player has averaged 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Larkin (21) hasn’t seen much of the court since the return of Devin Harris. Over his last 5 games he’s tallied just 6 minutes. On the season the rookie is averaging 3 points and 1.6 assists.

James (29) has only appeared in 29 games. Averaging just 4.9 minutes of action, putting up 1.1 point and 1.5 rebounds.

The Legends play the L.A Defenders tonight.

Ricky Ledo will not participate in the game due to NBA rules allowing only three players to be sent down at any given time.
