Charlotte Bobcats acquire Gary Neal from Bucks

The Charlotte Bobcats are adding some scoring punch for a playoff push.

The Bobcats have agreed to acquire guards Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour from the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bobcats, currently in the 8th seed in the East, average just 95.3 points a game.

The team hopes that Neal and even Ridnour can lessen the burden on stars Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson on the offensive end.

The Bucks receive point guard Ramon Sessions and forward Jeff Adrien.

Neal is averaging 10 points this season on 39.0% shooting (36% from 3). He was signed by the Bucks this past offseason

Ridnour has averaged just 5.4 points and 3.4 assists this season on the NBA worst Bucks.

Sessions was originally a second round draft pick of the Bucks back in 2007.

He’s averaged 10.5 points off the bench this season as a Bobcat.

Previous reports mentioned that the Bobcats may have also been interested in dealing for forward Caron Butler. Ben Gordon’s name was also mentioned in such rumor.
