The Brooklyn Nets have been linked to many trade rumors as the NBA trade deadline nears.
This time it involves them in talks with the Sacramento Kings.
Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Nets are interested in shooting guard Marcus Thornton.
Other pieces mentioned in the trade are the Nets Jason Terry and Reggie Evans.
Thornton would most likely be used as a scorer off the bench with Paul Pierce and Joe Johnson already starting on the wings.
Terry and Evans have not had the season many expected them to have, so it comes to no surprise that the Nets would dangle these two to teams in an effort to bolster their bench and talent.
A change of scenery could do Thornton some good, he’s averaged just 8.3 points a game for the Kings.
Terry has averaged just 4.5 points on 36.2% shooting. Also his contract comes off the books at the end of the season.
