After reports came in that the Phoenix Suns were interested in acquiring Pau Gasol from Los Angeles Lakers, it seems that talks have hit a snag.
Suns stop trade talks with Lakers for Gasol, say asking price is too steep. http://t.co/bmS250lj4R

This won’t be the fist time that the Lakers have seen talks end due to their asking price. The Cleveland Cavaliers elected to send Andrew Bynum’s non-guaranteed contract to the Chicago Bulls after ending talks with the Lakers.
With Gasol out the next two weeks with a groin injury, the Lakers won’t be able to show his health/value prior to the trade deadline.
The biggest snag seems to be which of the Sun’s first round draft picks the Lakers may be demanding to pair with Emeka Okafor’s contract.
