Looks like he Los Angeles Clippers will be signing forward Hedo Turkoglu for the remainder of the season pending a physical.

Tukoglu was waived by the Orlando Magic this season.

He played in just 11 games last season averaging 2.9 points and 2.4 rebonds.

The Clippers were looking for a forward that could handle that ball and that’s something the 6’10″ Turkoglu can do.

For his career, Turkoglu has averaged 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and has shot 38.1% from 3.

He helped lead the Magic to the NBA finals, as they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008-2009 season. During that season he averaged 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 7 7 games.

The Clippers were also reportedly interested in Lamar Odom, but with his recent off court issues, so them electing to not sign him comes to no surprise.

The Clippers also waived Stephen Jackson prior to his contract becoming fully guaranteed. He averaged just 1.7 points and 23.1% from the field in 9 games.
