Shane Larkin Out For Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks will be without backup rookie point guard Shane Larkin tonight against the Orlando Magic.

Larkin injured his ankle in the third quarter against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Expect Wayne Ellington, who is returning after missing the last two games (illness), or rookie Gal Mekel and Ricky Ledo to take over the backup guard minutes.

Larkin has been in and out of the rotation this season after returning from offseason surgery. He’s played in just 25 games and is averaging 3.2 points and 1.8 assists in 12.2 minutes per game.
