On Thursday, Dallas Mavericks’ guard Devin Harris participated in practice.
Harris has yet to suit up for the Mavericks this season as he’s been recovering from toe surgery. He was set to return mid-late December, but suffered a setback due to swelling.
Coach Rick Carlisl and Harris hope he’ll be ready to play in 10-15 days.
With Wayne Ellington and rookies Shane Larking and Gal Mekel struggling at the backup guard positions, the team hopes that Harris will finally be able to bring stability to that position.
Last season for the Atlanta Hawks, Harris averaged 9.9 points and 3.4 assists in 24.5 minutes per-game.
