LeBron Dunks On Ben McLemore, Regrets It Happened

This is definitely a candidate for Dunk of the Year of 2013-14 NBA season. Ben McLemore had to learn the hard way that you try to take a charge when LeBron James is in the air. This is not college my friend.

Lebron said in his postgame comments:

As a defender, it’s a split-second and if you make the wrong decision, then that’s what can happen,” James said. “I’ve been fortunate enough not to be on the other end of a lot of those plays where guys get airborne and you just try to make a quick decision on, ‘Do I make a play defensively or get out of the way?’

It sucks that it was him, too, because I like him. I’ve been talking to him since he was in high school. So it sucks

McLemore’s reaction:

I really don’t know what happened over there. I was just doing my defensive principles on the weakside low man. I just went over there to try to take the charge. He dunked the ball. Afterwards, I thought I should have fouled him

The Heat won the game 122-103.
