The one-time number one pick in the NBA draft is close to starting his comeback season. Greg Oden will host the NewOrleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and Miami Heat for workouts this week.
Oden has been reportedly working out in Indianapolis and back at Ohio State. He has already sat down with the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs.
He has not played a NBA game since 2009, but has been the interest of several teams since announcing that he will return to the league this upcoming season. The Miami Heat and Pat Riley are believed to the be the frontrunner to sign Oden. They have been meeting with him prior to his announcement to return.
The Mavericks are still interested in adding Greg Oden to the lineup after signing Samuel Dalembert last week.
