It is official everyone. Damian Lillard has been officially named the 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year, which is the exclamation point to an unexpected season for the point guard.
Lillard won the award hands down. He was a unaimous winner, receiving all 121 first place votes. Blake Griffin was the last rookie to win in such fashion. This season he averaged a rookie high 19 points per game, 6.5 assists, and a little over 38 minutes per game.
