Dirk Nowitzki Set To Play Soccer Game For Charity In Germany

Dirk  Nowitzki spent last offseason in his homeland of Germany touring his hometown and playing exhibition games with his teammates. This year Dirk will participate in a charity soccer game against German soccer sensation Manuel Neur.

Both will serve as team captains, and the will draft the rest of the team which will include other athletes from Germany.

The game will benefit underprivileged children, by way of the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Manuel Neur Kids Foundation.

The “Team up for Kids” event will be held at Flyeralarm-Arena in Dirk’s hometown of Wurzburg. Tickets are on sale now at www.team-up-for-kids.de
