Sloppy start to the third quarter

Both teams started the second half playing sloppy basketball.  Turnovers, missed shots, and bad passes were found in excess from both squads.  DeShawn Stevenson brought a lot of energy, and another three-ball, to keep the Mavs in the lead.  Foul shots allowed the Mavs to keep pace with the Lakers scoring early in the quarter.  A time out to make some lineup changes was a good call by Rick Carlisle with the Mavs up by one with 6:52 left in the third.
