I love to see one of the games greatest all around players doing well, but at the same time I am cursing this man’s name. For the first three weeks of the season this man was not playing good basketball. His point total looks half way decent because of a 19 point effort against Utah, but points are not what you look to this man for. The LA Dodgers are not up for sale, but Mark Cuban has made it known that he would be interested in buying a controlling interest in the current National League Western Division champs. The egomaniac in me would love to believe that the Mavericks got together Friday night and read my last entry asking for them to get it together in time for their home game Saturday night against the Raptors. Last night proved that the Mavericks fortunes rest on the shot of power forward Dirk Nowitzki. With the lead and the ball and just 10 ticks left on the clock the guys could not homd on and lost in OT by a score of 107-114. Jason Terry had a hell of a game shooting 12 of 18 from the floor and 7 of 10 from the line. After a busy offseason it was finally time for the Mavericks to begin their journey to the postseason last week as the 2009-10 NBA season tipped off.
